The Climate Finance Initiative (CFI) aims to mainstream Climate Finance into our global financial ecosystem. This initiative is developed by Jonas Tobiassen.
Target Problems
Financial Gap: The IPCC projects that $1.6 to 3.8 trillion in low-carbon investments are required annually until 2050. Similarly, the IEA estimates a cumulative $100 Trillion Energy Transition Funding gap by 2050.
Intellectual Gap: There is limited academic and educational content for investors, students, researchers, and policymakers, as 0.06% of academic finance research is related to Climate Finance.
